HEREAS on the EIGHTEENTH day of the month of SEPTEMBER last past, We thought WEt to prorogue Our Provincial Parliament to the TWENTY-BIGHTH day of the mouth of of OCTOBER instant, at which time, at Our City of Quebec,'you were held and constrained to appear. AND WHEREAS, in and by an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, made and passed in the Session held in the Third and Fourth years Our Reign, and intituled: "An Act to re-unite the Provinces of Upper and Lower Canada, and for the Government of Canada," it is, among other things, enacted, that it shall be lawful |
