By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Barbara Keates £9 5 0, for a Rifle & a Gun, to be Charged to Col. Joseph Ferree's acco't.

By order of the Board, Mr Nesbitt was directed to pay to John Davidson £75 4 6, for Cartouch Boxes, &ca, to be charged to Col. James Moore's Battalion, of Chester County.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Arthur Miller £100, for a Gun, to be Charged to Capt. Wm. McMullen, for Col. Wm. McKean's Battaliou.

By order of the Board,.Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Fred. Antes, Esq'r, £25 0 0, it being for an experiment made on an 18 pounder Cannon, according to an agreement with the late Commite tee of Safety.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to Pay Capt. Tho's Millard £79 12 0, for arms purchased, &ca, to be Charged to Col. Tho's Hockley's acc't.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Adolph Gillman £7 9 11, for meals of Militia on their march to this City.

Resolved, That the Troops under Capt Proctor's Command be augmented to two Hundred men, to be formed into two Companies, to be under the Direction of One Commanding Officer with the rank of Major, and each Company to have one Captain Lieutenant and three Lieutenants.

Resolved, That the said Troops be Commanded by Thomas Proctor, Esq'r, with the rank, pay, and allowance of Major, and to be recruited by him for the same time, and on the same terms as those already raised have been. - Capt. Welpert having waited on this Board with the Compliments of Mr. President Hancock, and to request that the Board would recommend some other Gentleman as first Lieutenant of the fifth Company of the German Battalion, to be raised in this State for the Continental Service, in the place of Lewis Van Linkensdorf, heretofore recommended as first Lieutenant, who has also been appointed Adjutant in the said Battalion; The Board, therefore, do recommend Mr. Bernard Hubley, jun'r, as first Lieutenant in the said Company, instead of the said Lewis Van Linkensdorf.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Rob’t Porter £30 10 0, for Cartouch Boxes, &ca. for Cartouch Boxes & Bayonet Belts, to be charged to Col. Richard Thomas.

By order of the Board, Jno. M. Nesbitt, Esq'r, Treasurer, was directed to pay to Lieut. Col. David Thomas £109 2 6, for Arms purchased for the use of His Battalion of Rifle men, of Philad'a County, to be Charged to his account.

By order of the Board, the Muster Master was directed to pass Capt. Jacob Hetherling's Company, of Col. Montgomery Battalion, of Chester County, with the present number of Officers & men.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay to Capt. Nathan Gibson £12 0 0, for shot Pouches, &c , for the use of his Company, to be Charged to Col. Jonathan Paschall of Philad'a County.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay to Capt. Robert Craig £17 2 0, for Blankets Purchased for the use of his Company, to be charged to Col. Bartram Galbreath.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Col. Tho's Hockley £100, to be charged to his acco't.

By order of the Board, R. Towers was directed to deliver Col. Tho's Hockley seventy Tomhawks for the use of His Battalion.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Peter Debaven & co. £509, for the use of the Gan Factory, to be Charged to their acco't.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay to Jacob S. Howell £250, towards Intrenching tools & piks, to be Charged to his account.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay the fol. lowing acco'ts : to Thos. Richardson, £6 for a Gun, to be Charged to Col. Joha

By order of the Board, Jno. M. Nesbitt, Esq'r, Treas’r, was directed to pay Abraham Moore of Coventry Township, Chester County, £30, on account of arms to be made for the Service of this State.

Resolved, That the Commanding Officer of each Battalion or Company of Associators belonging to this State, be required forthwith to return to the Council of Safety a list of the names of the Associators who have deserted from their respective corps, that they may be dealt with according to their Deserts.

Ordered, That the above resolve be published in all the Public Papers of this City.

By order of the Board, Messrs. Mease & Caldwell were directed to pay John Clark of Capt. Robt. Elton's Company, in Col. Moore's Battalion, a month's advance.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to Pay:

Capt. Joo. Paxton, for mileage 60 men to this City, £7 10 0 to be Charg'd to Con.

Col. Crawford's acco't for Arms, &ca., £205 14 9, to be Charged to Col. James Crawford.

Capt. Wm. Scott for Arms bought, £22 12 6, to be charged to Col. Thos. Hockley.

Nathaniel Porter, for do. bal. £22 14, to be Charged to Col. Hockley.

Wm. Brown Acco’t, amo't £13 10 104, Boat Hire.

John Davison, for Cartridge Boxes, &ca., £27 19 6, to be charged to Capt. Wm. Smith, of York County.

By order of the Board, Messrs. Mease & Caldwell was desired to : pay a month's advance to Morris Cunningham, of Col. McPherson's Battalion.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbit was directed to pay Tho's McKensey £16 12 6, for Cartouch Boxes, £8 11 0 to be charged to Col. Wm. Smith & £8 1 6 to be Charged to Col. Dill.

By order of the Board, Mr. Towers was directed to deliver Mr. Thomas Mendenhall 3 Quarter Casks of Powder, & Charge it to his Acco't.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbit was directed to pay Mr. Tho's Mendenhall £57 3 9, which with the above Powder, is in full for 303 lbs. Salt Petre delivered Rob’t Towers.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Rob't Porter £4 5 6 for Cartouch Boxes, d'd for the use of Col. William Smith's Battalion, of York County.

Permission was given to one Officers belonging to each of the Battalions of Prisoners confined at Lancaster, now on Parole at Carlisle, to go to Lancaster and continue for such a Space of Time as is Sufficient to muster the Prisoners belonging to their respective Battalions, & directed to the Committee of Inspection of Cumberland.

By order of the Board, Mr. Rob’t Towers was directed to deliver to Q'r M. Generals Assistant, 4000 Priming Wires & Brushes, 20,000 Flints, 200 Ramrods, 1 Ton Riffle Powder, Cannon Cartridge Paper, and a number of Musket Cartridges, (leaving a Sufficient number of for this State) to be Charged to Congress.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to Pay Mr. James Old £1500 on acco't of Cannon & Shott Cast for the use of this State, to be Charged to his acco't. '. By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Mr. John Baker £60, on account of repairs done to Arms of Associators going into Service, to be Charged to his acco't.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Major Benja. Loxley £100, towards the the Cannon Foundry & Boring Mill erected for this State, to be Charged to his acco't.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Col. Thomas Porter Fifty Pounds, to be Charged to his acco't.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was directed to pay Capt. Wm. Brown £35 8 11, being the Balance of his acco't.

Messrs. Mease & Caldwell were requested to advance Lieut. Col. Wm. Clark One Hundred & Fifty Pounds, & Lieut. Col. Frederick Watts Ten pounds, in order to assist the Officers of their Battalion, as it will promote the Service in forwarding the men to Camp,

Resolved, That the Committee of Inspection and Observation of Lancaster County, be requested to assist Capt. Matthew Smith in the procuring 160 Rifles, and that they direct the Gun Smiths in their County to make that Quantity of Rifles with all Convenient dispatch, so as not to hinder them from repairing the arms of the Militia now on their march to Head Quarters in Jersey.

By order of the Board, Mr. Nesbitt was requested to pay Lieut. Lowan £2 19 9, for repairing Arms, &ca., to be charged to Col. Wm. Smith.

The Board then Adjourned to 7 o'Clock, Afternoon; when the

Capt. Ayres of the Armed Boat Campden, was directed to pay
Hugh Whiteford the wages due to his Slave, Jacob Kelly, and dis-
charge said Kelly from the Service of this State.

An order was drawn on Joho M. Nesbitt, Esq'r, Treas'r, in fav'r of Mr. Owen Biddle, for £250, towards Cloathing purchased for Col. Atlee's Battalion, to be Charged to his Acco't.

Adam Zantzinger, for £75, and an order on Mr. Robert Towers for
4 Quarter Casks of Powder, being for 400 lbs. Salt Petre.

The following Acco'ts were passed & Mr. Nesbitt directed to pay them.

Capt. Nath'l Porter's Acco't, £1 2 0, for Repairing Arms for Col. Hockly's Battalion.

An Acco't for mileage of 6 Companies of Col. Hockley's Battalion, viz:

Capt. Whealon Comp'y £8 12 10; Capt. Ralston's Comp'y £10 12 11.

Capt. Hartman's Co'y 10 0 0; Capt. Scott's £7 6 8.

Capt. Miller's £6 9; Capt. Porter, £6 12, making in the whole £49 13 5, to be charged to Congress.

Capt. Jos. Blewer's Acco't for a Gun delivered Rob't Towers £3 0 0.

Thomas Tuft's Acco't £21 0 0, for Medicine Chests, &c., made for Doct'r Duffield & Delany for Public Service, to be charged to Congress.
