(Seal) To James Pairce Constable of the Town of Derryfield

Greeting You are Required by the authority of the afore Said State to Levey and Colect of the Several Persons Naimed in the List Hearwithin Commeted unto you Each one his Respective proportion therein Set Down the Sum total of Said List of Assesment is a Tax Laid on the Mail polls and Estates and Incoms of the Inhabitants of the Said Town of Derryfield, it Being a Bounty Voted by Said Town to the Soldiers Who Enlisted to Serve in the Present Ware for Three years. Which Money you are to Collect, at or Before the first Day of August next, and to Deliver it to the Select Men or their order at or Before Said time, and if aney Person or Persons Naimed in Said List Shall Neglact or Refuse to pay the Sum or Sums Wharat he or they are Respectively Assessed you are to Observe and follow the Derecttions of the Law, in Leveying and Collecting the Same.

Greeting. You are hereby Required to Warn a meeting of the freehoulders Inhabitants of Said Derryfield that they meet at their meeting House the first Day of October next at thrre of the Clock after Noon on Said Day.

1-ly to Chouse a moderator to Goveran Said meeting.

2-ly to Draw one man from the Box to Serve on the petit Jury at the next Inferior Court of Common Pleas to be holden at Amherst on the Seventh day of October next.

3ly to Chouse one man to Serve on the Grand Jury at the next Court of General Sessions of the peace to be holden at Amhirst in and for Said County on the Ninth Day of October next,

And this Shall be your Sufecant Warrent Given Under my hand at Derryfield this 8th Day of September Ad: 1777 David Starret T: Clerk

To James Pairce Constable for the Town of Derryfield Greetin You are hereby Required in the Name of the Gouerment and People of this State to Levey & Collect of the Severl persons whose names are mentioned in this List the Severl Sums Carried out against Each mans name in Bills of the Continantel emiction or Bills of this State and Pay to the Tresuerer of this State the Sum of one Hundred and three Pounds Eightteen Shillings & four Pance at or Before the first Day of March Next Insuing and the Remander of the Sums Contained in this List you are Required to pay to Us the Select Men of this Town or their order at or Before the first Monday of march affore Said

fail not as you will answer your Default at the pains and panalty of the Law in that behalf made and Provided and if aney of the within named Parsons Shall Neglect or Refuse to pay there Respecttive Sum or Sums to you you are to proseed with them as the Law Dericts impowring Counstables or Collectors to Gether Taxes in this State
