Voted that the above Named Constable is found to be Clear of the List Committid to him by the Committee Namely: Corn John Goffe and William Mc Clintok Comte tee men exsepting £4-3-3-0 Lawful money to balence his List which Sum the a forsaid Constable is stil in Debted for to the Town Cherls Emerson Constable for the Town of Derryfield for the year A: D: 1765 Prayes that the following Parsons contained in his List may be abeted (viz)

Voted that the aboue Named Constable is found to be Clear of the List commited to him by the Committee Namely Coral John Goffe & William Mc Clintok Committee men Exsepting £0:11:10:1 Lawful money to balence his List which Sum the afore Said Constable is Stil in Debeted for to the Town

Voted that the present Select men shall have full power to abet Capt Alexander Mc Murphys Reats which are in John harveys Constable List for the year A: D: 1767

Voted that the warnings for Town meetings for the Curent year shall be Lawful by posten the Copeys of the warent in three Disstint places In Said town (viz) Coral John Goffe thomas Russ and Levin John Halls

Wheras more then ten of the Inhabitants of Said Town Have Supplicated and Desiered us the Select men of Derryfield to Call a meeting of the Inhabitants and inceirt the following articles in the warrant for Calling Said meeting (viz)

1ly to See if the Town will Chuse a Committee and invest them with power to Settel with the Committee that was Chosen by A vote of the Town in December the 13th Day A: D: 1759: to borrow A Sum of money Consisting of four Hundred and Twenty Three pounds six Shilings old tennor and to Sue for the Same if Refused and make a full and Compleet Settelment of the same and make Report to the Town as Soon as may be

2ly, to See what meathod the town will take to Recover all the money that is Due from former Select men and Constables or wherever their Shall appear any mony to be Due to the Town

3.ly, to here the accounts Read of any that have any Just Demands of the Town and to allow or Disalow of them and

Give order for the payment of Such as are or Shall bealowed by the Town

You are Therefore Required In His Majestyes Name to warn all the inhabitants and freeholders Quelifyed to vote that they meet at the barn of William Mc Clintoks in Said Derryfield on monday the Eighteenth Day of this Instant July at two of the Clock in the Afternoon then and their when meet to Chuse 1ly a moderator to Govern the Said meeting and then to act on all the three forgouing articles an to Do and act any other thing Tending to the benefit of the Town And this Shall be your sufficent warrant

Province of New Hamshire July the 18th Day A: D: 1768 By vertue of this warrant I have warnned all the free holders and inhabitantes of Derryfield by Posting the Coppys of the warrants in three Dis Stinct placeses in Said town with both the time and the place of holding Said meeting per me William Nutt Constable

1ly Voted Capt" John Stark moderator

2ly Voted to ajourn this meeting into william mc Clintoks house

then meet acording to ajournment the moderator and Clerk, Being present and the meeting opned

3ly Voted that ther be a Committee of three men (viz) 4ly Voted Corn1 John Goffe Capt" John Stark and william mc Clintok to Be the afore Said Committee

5ly Voted the above Committee, Shall have full powour and athourety to Setel all accounts with that Committee which was Chousen by a vote of the Town in the year A: D: 1759 to Borrow a Sum of money for the Towns youse and Prosecute them if they Shall Refuse a Setelment to final judgment and Execustion and make a report to the Town

6ly Voted on the second articl of the warrant that the afore Said Committee have the Same Powour and athourety as is aboue expressed to Setel and Recover all the money that is Due to the Town from the Former Selectmen and Constable or Elswhare Due

7ly Voted to ajourn this meeting to the Second mondey in September in Suing at two oclock on Said Day at the house of william mc Clintoks afor Said

So fare we proseded on the warrant and no farther only the third artical of the warrent Remains and was not actted

on
