Wednesday, 10th May, 1865. Present His Worship the Mayor, J. L. BEAUDRY, Esq.; Aldermen GRENIER, Resolved-That this Council deem it their duty to express to the City Clerk, Charles Glackmeyer, their acknowledgment for his ability, zeal, and assiduity in collating, classifying, and revising the Charter and By-laws of this City, and in preparing the supplementary matters contained in the volume of Municipal Laws about to be published under the direction of this Council. Resolved-That the thanks of this Council are also due to the Assistant City Clerk, P. L. Macdonell, for the able and diligent manner in which he has translated the Revised By-laws in the French language. |
