(1) District of Columbia (without county government and operating primarily as a city) Appendix C CITIES (IN TABLE 4) WITHOUT WEATHER STATION, AND THE SUBSTITUTED NEARBY STATION As indicated by the descriptive text for items 322-329, and footnotes in table 4, climate data could not be supplied relating directly to a number of cities because those places either had no weather station, or had weather stations with records too short to provide reasonably reliable weather statistics. For all but 7 cities, however, observations from nearby stations having approximately the same weather conditions were substituted. The following table lists those cities for which substitutions were made and identifies the weather station substituted. |
