He beareth Sable, a Chevron Ermine, between three Crescents, Argent.

This patent was granted by William Camden,

April 3, 1604, and descends to the
name and family of Glover.

The above Coat of Arms, with the accompanying inscription, corresponds with those referred to on pages 14, 15 and 44. It was taken from one obtained of a London Herald by Capt. Russell Glover, and is now in the possession of John J. Glover, Esq., of Quincy.
