(1) and (2). A parcel of land 12 rods by 44 rods, "along the inner way without the north gate
and north of Reyer Ebertse, was patented to Arent Van Curler in 1659, and
in 1680 to Wm. Beekman (the administrator of his estate ?) 1663-87, this lot was owned
by Reyer Elbertse and Claas Janse Van Boekhoven; 1681, Gerrit Reyerse, son of Reyer

(2). In 1681, Gerrit Reyerse, son of Reyer Elbertse, conveyed this lot to six associated shoe-
makers, viz: Barent Mynderse, Jeronimus Wendel, Cornelis Van Schelluyne, Simon
Jacobse Schermerhorn, Jacob Theunise and Johannes Mingael for a bark mill for the
