AN ACT FOR THE BETTER PRESERVATION OF THE EARLY RECORDS OF THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey, That the commissioners of the state library be and are hereby authorized to print by contract to be awarded to the lowest bidder, and distribute to the different state libraries of the United States, and to such other public libraries as they shall name, the three manuscripts now in the state library, containing the minutes of the colonial and revolutionary history of the State. 2. And be it enacted, That the Comptroller is hereby authorized to draw his warrant upon the state treasurer for the necessary sum required for the same, upon the order of the commissioners of the state library. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall be deemed a public act, and shall take effect immediately. Approved April 6, 1871. |
