CHAPTER LVII.

An Act for the preservation of the flags carried by Minnesota troops during the war for the suppression of the Southern Rebellion.

SECTION 1. Authorizes Governor to provide a suitable case for preservation of Minnesota battle flags.

2. Designates where flags shall be kept.

3. Appropriates sum of money for carrying out provisions of act.

4. When act to take effect.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Minnesota:

SECTION 1. The Governor of this State is hereby authorized to procure a suitable case, of glass and wood, in which to keep the flags carried by Minnesota troops during the late war.

SEC. 2.

Said case shall be kept in one of the main halls of the Capitol.

SEC. 3. The sum of five hundred dollars ($500), or so much of it as may be needed, is hereby appropriated out of any moneys in the State Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, for carrying out the provisions of this act.

SEC. 4. This act shall be in force from and after its passage.

CHAPTER LVIII.

An Act making appropriation of money for a contin- March 2, 1866. gent fund of immigration, for the year eighteen hundred and sixty-six.

SECTION 1. Appropriation for a contingent fund of Immigration.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Minnesota:

CHAPTER LIX.

An Act for the purpose of enlarging the Law Library of the State.

SECTION 1. Appropriation for enlarging Law Library of State.
2. Judges of Supreme Court to draw appropriation.

3. Judges may sell or exchange duplicate copies.
4. When act to take effect.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Minnesota:

SECTION 1. The sum of five hundred dollars is hereby appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of enlarging the law library of the State.

SEC. 3. The said Judges may exchange any duplicate copy of any law book in the State Library, or sell and reinvest the proceeds of any such duplicate copy in the purchase of additional law books.

An Act appropriating money for the benefit of the State March 1, 1866. Library.

SECTION 1. Appropriates money for the benefit of the State Library.

2. Appropriation for binding newspapers, &c.

2. When act to take effect.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Minnesota:

SECTION 1. That the sum of three hundred dollars, Appropriates or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the money for Statu same is hereby appropriated out of any moneys in the Library. treasury, belonging to the general revenue fund, not otherwise appropriated.

1st. For contingent fund for State Library, one hundred and fifty dollars.

2d. For binding newspapers and arranging and printing catalogue of Library, one hundred and fifty dollars.

SEC. 2. This act shall take effect from and after its passage.

CHAPTER LXI.

February ✪, 1866. An Act authorizing the Governor of this State to obtain the release of Maria Boyer.

SECTION 1. Governor authorized to to obtain the release of Maria Boyer.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Minnesota
