ACTE qui continue, pour un tems limité, un Acte paffé dans la quarantetroifième Année du Règne de Sa Majefté, intitulé, "Acte qui établit. "des Règlemens concernant les Etrangers et certains Sujets de Sa Majefté, qui, ayant réfidé en France, viennent dans cette Province ou y réfident". 66 (2e. Mai, 1804.) qu'un Acte a été paffé dans la dernière Seffion de la Légiflature, intitulé, "Atte qui établit des Règlemens concernant les Etrangers et certains Sujets de Sa Majefté, Préambules "His Majefty who have refided in France, coming into this Province or refiding there "in," which Act will expire at the end of this Seffion; and Whereas it is expedient and neceffary that the faid Act be continued: Be it therefore enacted by the King's moft Excellent Majefty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Affembly of the Province of Lower Canada, conftituted and affembled by virtue of, and under the authority of an Act paffed in the Parliament of Great Britain, intituled, "An Act to repeal certain parts of an A&t paffed in the fourteenth year of "His Majefty's Reign, intituled, " An Act for making more effectual provifion for the "Government of the Province of Quebec in North America," and to make further Pro"vifion for the Government of the faid Province;" and it is hereby enacted by authority of the fame, that the faid Act, intituled, "An Act for establishing Regulations "refpecting Aliens and certain Subjects of His Majefty who have refided in France coming "into this Province or refiding therein," and all matters and things therein contained Geo. 111. cap. II. fhall continue to be in force until the first day of January one thoufand eight hundred and five, and from thence to the end of the then next Seffion of the Provincial Parlia ment, and no longer. "Majefté, qui, ayant réfidé en France, viennent dans cette Province ou y réfident," lequel Acte n'aura de durée que jusqu'à la fin de cette Seffion de la Légiflature; Et yu qu'il eft expédient et néceffaire que le dit A&te foit continué Qu'il foit en conféquence ftatué par la Très Excellente Majefté du Roi, par et de l'avis et confentement du Confeil Législatif et de l'Affemblée de la Province du Bas Canada, conftitués et affemblés en vertu et fous l'autorité d'un Acte paffé dans le Parlement de la Grande-Bretagne, intitulé, "Acte qui rappelle certaines parties d'un Acte paffé "dans la quatorzième Année du Règne de Sa Majefté, intitulé, "Ate qui pourvoit plus efficacement pour le Gouvernement de la Province de Québec dans l'Amérique "Septentrionale;" et qui pourvoit plus amplement pour le Gouvernement de la dite "Province;" Et il eft par le préfent ftatué par la même autorité, que le dit A&te, intitulé," Acte qui établit des Règlemens concernant les Etrangers et certains Sujets "de Sa Majesté, qui, ayant réfidé en France, viennent dans cette Province, ou y réfident," et toutes les matières et chofes y contenues, continueront d'être en force jufqu'au premier jour de Janvier, Mil huit cent cinq, et de là jusqu'à la fin de la Seffion alors prochaine du Parlement, Provincial, et pas plus long-temps. 48. CA P. II, ACTE qui continue, pour un tems limité, un Acte paffé dans la quarantetroifième Année du Règne de Sa Majefté, intitulé, "Acte pour la meilleure préférvation du Gouvernement de Sa Majeflé, tel qu'il est heu reufement établi par la Loi en cette Province”.
