The wills of John, the immigrant, and of George Washington, are taken from the originals; the others are from certified copies, made by the custodians of the originals. I have followed the Mss. closely, adding a few notes, in which I have received great assistance from Rev. Horace Edwin Hayden, of Wilkesbarre, Pa. -- the author. |
