THE POWYS-LAND CLUB. THE OPENING OF THE NEW ROOM BUILT ADJOINING THE POWYS-LAND MUSEUM FOR A LIBRARY. THE Eighth Annual Meeting of the POWYS-LAND CLUB was held on Monday, the 5th October, at 3 o'clock, p.m., in the new Library, on which occasion an Art Exhibition was held. The new Library is erected on the land behind the Museum cottage, and lying between the Museum and Red Lane, Welshpool, and communicating with the Museum, but having a separate entrance from Red Lane. It is a room 30 feet long and 26 feet wide, and of a good height. Further particulars of its erection, &c., will appear in the Museum Committee's Report, appended.
