A. Department for the Treatment of Stomach, Intestinal and Rectal Diseases. This department will receive special attention by Dr. Breisacher who both as a student abroad and professor at University, Pa., has devoted years of study to this class of work.

B. Bathing Department for Treatment of Rheumatic, Nutritive and Skin Diseases.-The mineral water at the Sanitarium, which is used as an adjunct in the treatment of this class of diseases, has been shown, by analysis and practical experience to be equal to the best waters in the world. The water is practically identical with that of Mt. Clemens and contains in addition to the large quantities of alum, iron carbonate, calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, magnesium chloride, hydrogen sulphide and sodium chloride. (ingredients common both to Ypsilanti and Mt. Clemens waters) appreciable quantities of iodine and bromine combinations.

C. Hospital for the Care of Surgical and Medical Cases.— Physicians from out of the city may send patients to the Sanitarium with directions for treatment or they may put them under the immediate care of one of the medical staff at the hospital. The Sanitarium places its operating room at the disposal of physicians who wish to bring operation cases to the hospital.

D. Training School for Nurses.-A Training School for Nurses under the control of an experienced matron has been established. The course of study extends over a period of three years.

E. Complete Laboratory for Chemical, Pathological and General Biological Research.
