CLARKE AND SONS, LAW BOOKSELLERS, PORTUGAL-STREET, LINCOLN'S INN. LOBARY OF THE AND STANFORD, JR., UNIVERS. TY LAY DETERRENT. a.56343 JUL 15 1901 W. Flint, Printer, St. Sepulchre's. PREFACE. THE HE following work is offered to the public as part of a plan in which the Editor has engaged for giving to the profession the earliest information concerning the decisions of the Court of King's Bench, and occasionally of other Courts, together with an Abridgment of the Statutes as they are passed, and also some other articles on legal subjects of a miscellaneous nature. While the Editor feels grateful for the encouragement which his plan has hitherto received, he is not unsolicitous as to the reception of this part of his work, now that it assumes the form of a Volume of REPORTS to be continued annually; in which character he ventures to submit it to the candour of a liberal profession, in the hope that they will receive it with that favour which they usually bestow on every endeavour to be useful, and that indulgence which has been always granted to the well-intended labours of every early candidate in the profession. These are published monthly under the title of the LAW JOURNAL. |
