I, Edward P. Roggen, secretary of state of the state of Nebraska, do hereby certify that I have carefully examined and compared the annexed copies of the laws, joint resolutions and memorials, passed by the legislature of said state, at its nineteenth session, with the original rolls on file in this office, and that the same are true and correct copies thereof.

Done at Lincoln this twenty-ninth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty five, of the independence of the United States the one hundred and ninth, and of this state the nineteenth.

The volume of statutes published in 1866 is referred to as "Rev. Stat," that published in 1873 as "Gen. Stat.," and that published in 1881 as "Comp. Stat." The compilation authorized by the legislature, at its nineteenth session, will be known as "Comp. Stat.," 1885, second edition.
