SECT. 1. To an act entitled An act to incorporate the city of Lancaster.

SECT. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre sentatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the select and common councils of the city of Lancaster in councils assembled, shall have full power and authority, by ordinance or resolution, to borrow for the use of the said city, any sum or sums of money which they may deem necessary, and to levy taxes for the re-payment of all loans already made, and that hereafter may be made for the use of the said city, for the re-payment of which the faith of the said city now is, or hereafter may be pledged: Provided, That the said councils shall in no one year lay a tax en any property in said city which shall ex

For the relief of Ebenezer Kerr, present coroner of Allegheny county and for other purposes.

SECT. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre sentatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the commissioners of Allegheny county, are Comm'rs. to hereby authorized and required to draw their warrants on draw warthe county treasurer in favor of Ebenezer Kerr, the present rants in favor coroner of said county for the amount of jurors, constables of E. AN ACT

To revive and continue in force the chartered privileges of the Presbyterian congregation of Waynesburg, in Mifflin county, which have been lost by neglecting to choose trustees.

SECT. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre sentatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the Presbyterian congregation of Waynesburg, Election of in Mifflin county, are hereby authorized to elect, as soon as practicable after the passage of this act, five trustees in the same manner as they are allowed to do under their charter of incorporation, who shall serve as such trustees until the second Monday in January next, at which time they may choose as they originally did under the charter aforesaid, and so on annually thereafter as directed by said charter.

SECT. 2. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That the acts of the trustees so chosen shall be as good and valid in law as if there had not been any failure to choose as provided by said charter.
