No. 1.

AN ACT

To enable the Governor to appoint a Notary Public in the borough of
Middletown, in Dauphin county.

SEOTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre sentatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the Governor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to appoint one additional Notary Public in the county of Dauphin, who shall, during his continuance in office, reside in the borough of Middletown.

A FURTHER SUPPLEMENT

To the act entitled "A further supplement to the act entitled An act to alter the judiciary system of this commonwealth," passed the eighth day of April, eighteen hundred and twenty-six.

SECT. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre sentatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the publication of the list of causes, required by the third section of the supplement passed on the fourteenth Circuit court,

day of April, eighteen hundred and twenty eight, to the act to which this is a further supplement, shall be full notice of trial in all causes in the circuit courts of this commonwealth where the said publication shall be hereafter made, agreeably to the directions of the third section of said supplement, thirty days before the time of holding said circuit courts, any rule or rules of said court to the contrary notwithstanding.

AN ACT

Relative to the Abington and Waterford Turnpike.

SECT. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen tatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That an act of the General Assembly entitled, "An act to enable the Governor to incorporate a company to make an artificial road, from the Philadelphia and Great Bend turnpike, in Abington township, to intersect the Milford and Owego turnpike road, at or east of Montrose," passed the first day of February, one thousand eight hundred and Revival of twenty-three, and the seventeenth section of an act entitled, acts of 1823 "An act authorizing the Governor to incorporate the Warren and Jefferson county turnpike road company," passed the tenth day of April, eighteen hundred and twenty-six, are hereby renewed, re-enacted, and continued in full force and effect, to all intents and purposes, as if the Abington and Waterford turnpike road had been made and finished within the time limited by law for that purpose; and the term limited by law for finishing the said Abington and Waterford turnpike road, be and the same is hereby extended to the twenty-fifth day of April, which will be in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty-six.
