Aug. 28 Jan. 4 Feb. 13 May 24 N. P. McQuarry. Kindred.. Larimore Unknown man. Mandel Rugby Junction.. Canton....... Causes and Responsibility Stepped in front of engine, slipped and was run over. Fell from handcar and was run over, losing his right arm. Loading rock, one fell on him, fracturing both legs. Inspecting track, was struck by train and right side paralyzed. Stepping from coach platform, he slipped and sprained his knee. Lying asleep on track, was struck by train and killed. Walking on track, was struck and instantly killed. Stealing a ride, fell off, was run over and killed. Stealing a ride, fell from train and was killed. Found dead on track; supposed to have committed suicide. Lying asleep on track, was hit by train, and shoulder and leg badly cut. Stealing a ride on trucks, had his foot run over and toes taken off. Farrington, Comptroller, of the Great Northern Railway Company, on our oath do severally say that the foregoing return has been prepared, under our direction, from the original books, papers, and records of said company; that we have carefully examined the same, and declare the same to be a complete and correct statement of the business and affairs of said company in respect to each and every matter and thing therein set forth, to the best of our knowledge, information, and belief; and we further say that no deductions were made before stating the gross earnings or receipts herem set forth, except those shown in the foregoing accounts; and that the accounts and figures contained in the foregoing return embrace all of the financial operations of said company during the period for which said return is made.
