We have aimed to continue at least one line of descent from each of the 3rd generation from Richard Risley (1.) We do not wish to be held responsible for the accuracy of names, dates of births, marriages and deaths. It has been our endeavor to collect and tabulate accurately, so far as we could learn, the dates contained in this work. 66 66 Those in the family who have erroneously spelled the name Wrisley," we have corrected by using the original spelling Risley." The erroneous spelling of this name began with one of Samuel Risley's sons, while the father and remaining sons spelled the name Risley" as originally used.
