American Church Building Fr

REPORT OF THE COMMISSIONERS FOR C

The contributions of Connecticut to the American C to be reported this year amount to $410.95, given by tv tions and three individuals. The sum total is less tha year, and is the smallest for ten years. On the other ha gregations made offerings last year, and but for a legac would have been much smaller than that for the year ju therefore a manifest improvement; and when the finan sidered, the report is not a discouraging one, and fur that the Building Fund has a permanent hold on the people. But we still fail to secure regular offerings fro minority of Parishes, and it is plain that some addition ing general interest should be employed. The Diocese been particularly successful in this respect, nearly c having at some time contributed, and several having giv estimated share of the whole amount asked for by th Diocese a large committee is appointed to coöperate with and we venture to request this Convention to authorize such a committee in Connecticut. To this end we re following Resolution:

Resolved, as a Standing Resolution, That a Committee Clergyman and two laymen from each Archdeaconry, be by the President of this Convention to coöperate with for Connecticut of the American Church Building Fu shall have been completed.

A list of contributions is appended. Owing to a cler ing of St. John's Church, Bridgeport, was inaccurately the error is here corrected.
