This being the day appointed by the Constitution, and the place designated by the Bishop, the Annual Convention assembled at 9.30 A. M. The Holy Communion was celebrated by the Bishop, assisted by the Rev. Storrs O. Seymour, the Rev. Samuel Hart, D.D., the Rev. Frederick W. Harriman, and the Rev. James W. Bradin, Rector of the Parish. The sermon was preached by the Rev. Dr. Hart, Professor in Trinity College, from St. John iv, 35, 37, 38 and reviewed the episcopate of Bishop Seabury, this being the one-hundredth year since its close. The offertory was for the Missionary Society of the Diocese. The service ended, the Bishop took the chair.
