CHAPTER 116.

An Act Relating to Guysborough School Section, in the County of Guysborough.

(Passed the 23rd day of April, A. D., 1928)

Be it enacted by the Governor, Council, and Assembly, as follows:

The trustees of Guysborough School Section Temporary No. 1, in the County of Guysborough, may by way of temporary loan borrow annually from any chartered bank in the Province of Nova Scotia a sum not exceeding two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) for the purpose of defraying the annual current ex- . penditure of the said section.

CHAPTER 117.

An Act to change the Name of the District heretofore called "East Margaree," in the County

of Inverness, to "Margaree.'

(Passed the 23rd day of April, A. D., 1923).

Be it enacted by the Governor, Council, and Assembly, as follows:

The name of the settlement heretofore called Name changed. "East Margaree," in the County of Inverness, is hereby

changed to, and said settlement shall henceforth be

known by the name of "Margaree.

CHAPTER 118.

An Act to Change the Name of the District heretofore called "Middle South," in the County

of Lunenburg, to "Bayport."

(Passed the 23rd day of April, A. D., 1923).

Be it enacted by the Governor, Council, and Assembly, as follows:

1. The name of the district heretofore called "Middle South," in the County of Lunenburg, is hereby changed to, and said district shall henceforth be known by the name of "Bayport."

CHAPTER 119.

An Act to Enable the Pictou County Power Board to Borrow Money to Construct or Acquire

a system for distributing Electrical

Energy.

(Passed the 23rd day of April, A. D., 1923).

Be it enacted by the Governor, Council, and Assembly, as follows:

The Pictou County Power Board is hereby Authority to authorized and empowered to borrow on the credit $275,000. of the said Board, and of the Town of New Glasgow, the Town of Stellarton and the Town of Trenton, or such of the said towns as shall have passed the resolution mentioned in Sections 8 and 9 of this Act, the sum of two hundred and seventy-five thousand dollars for the purpose of constructing or acquiring a distribution system, or otherwise providing for the distribution and sale within the said towns above named, of electrical energy contracted to be supplied to the said Pictou County Power Board by the Nova Scotia Power Commission.

2. (a) For the purpose of effecting the loans Debentures. authorized by this Act, the Pictou County Power Board is empowered and authorized to make and issue, subject to the provisions of the Municipal Debentures Act, 1914, and Amendments thereto, at any time or from time to time as determined by resolution of the said Board, debentures as hereinafter mentioned bearing interest at a rate not exceeding six per centum per annum at such time or times not exceeding thirty years from the issue thereof and at such place or places in Canada, Great Britain or the United States as the said Board may determine.

(b) such debentures shall be in sums of one hundred dollars each or any multiple thereof;

(c) such debentures may be issued in such amounts as the said Board determines, provided that the total amount issued does not exceed the
