Of the Municipal Council of the Township of Vaughan, praying for the passing of an Act to confirm certain side roads in the said Township, and to provide for the manner in which the remaining side road allowance and other boundary lines of lots in the said Township shall hereafter be defined.

Ballantyne and others, of the Parishes of Notre Dame de Bonsecours de l'Islet and St. Cyrille de Lessard, praying for a grant of money to continue the Arago road, from the seigniory of St. Cyrille de Lessard to the Taché road, for the purpose of encouraging settlement therein.

Casgrain and others, of the County of L'Islet, praying for a grant to build a Light House on the wharf at L'Islet; also that a keeper may be appointed, and that a tax may be imposed on vessels using the said wharf, for the purpose of paying the expenses of keeping and lighting the said light-house, and other necessary expenses.

Of the Municipal Council of the County of Wentworth, praying for an amendment of the present Jury Law.

Of the proprietors of the Metropolitan Gas Company of Toronto; praying for the passing of an Act to transfer to them all the rights and privileges enjoyed by the said Company.

The Honorable the Speaker presented to the House the Annual Report of the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor and Senate of the University of Toronto.

And also a Return of the Liabilities and Assets of the City Bank, Montreal, made up to the 31st March, 1860.

Also the Bursar's statement of the cash transactions of the University of Toronto, and of Upper Canada College.

A Message was brought from the Legislative Assembly by their Clerk, to return the Bill intituled, " An Act respecting the sale and management of the Public Lands," and to acquaint this House that they have passed the said Bill with several Amendments, to which they desire the concurrence of the Legislative Council.
