To Prove the succession of the said JAMES (the said third son of EDWARD) as THIRD MARQUESS OF THOMOND, SEVENTH EARL OF, and TWELFTH LORD INCHIQUIN, and his death on 3rd July, 1855, without leaving issue male.

CERTIFICATE OF DEATH AND ORAL TESTIMONY.

PROPOSITION XVII.

To Prove the marriages of EDWARD, the brother of the MARQUESSES OF THOMOND, with (first) Diana, the daughter of Hotham, in 1805, and her death, in November, 1810, without issue; 2dly. With Gertrude Grace, the daughter of Methuen, in 1815, and her death, in May, 1817, without issue; and 3dly With Lady Elizabeth Susan Somerset daughter of His Grace Henry Charles 6th Duke of Beaufort, in 1822, by whom he had issue an only son, namely, HENRY WILLIAM, born 28th December, 1822, who died an infant, unmarried, in the lifetime of his father.

The death of the said EDWARD, on 9th March, 1824, and of his brother JOHN, unmarried, in the lifetime of their elder brothers, WILLIAM and JAMES, the second and third MARQUESSES of THOMOND respectively, when the line from the eldest son of the first EARL of THOMOND and LORD INCHIQUIN became extinct.

PROPOSITION XVIII.

To Prove the death of TEIGE (THADEUS), the second son of MURROUGH, first EARL of THOMOND and LORD INCHIQUIN, in the month of December, 1577, leaving issue male by his wife, More (the daughter of Donal O'Brien), one son only, namely, TERLOGH (born in 1570), who died on the 12th day of July, 1584, unmarried.
