Halaman 8 - And in case of disobedience to a subpoena the commission, or any party to a proceeding before the commission, may invoke the aid of any court of the United States in requiring the attendance and testimony of witnesses and the production of books, papers, and documents under the provisions of this section.

It may suit the purposes of despotic power; but it cannot abide the pure atmosphere of political liberty and personal freedom.
Halaman 26 - Congress passed in the exercise of its constitutional powers, cannot refuse to produce the books and papers of such corporation, we do not wish to be understood as holding that a corporation is not entitled to immunity, under the Fourth Amendment, against unreasonable searches and seizures. A corporation is, after all, but an association of individuals under an assumed name with a distinct legal entity.
Halaman 34 - Although, for the reasons above stated, we are of the opinion that an officer of a corporation which is charged with a violation of a statute of the State of Its creation, or of an act of Congress, passed in the exercise of its constitutional powers...
