8. A sum of money annually equal to but not greater than five per centum of all excise moneys, after deducting rebates or returns, reccived by the town of Rye from or on account of the issuing of liquor tax certificates permitting traffic in liquors, as defined by the liquor tax law and of any moneys paid for taxes upon the business of trafficking in or selling or delivering any such liquors, within that part of the town of Rye comprised within the corporate limits of the village of Port Chester. Such sum to be paid upon receipt thereof by the town authorities of said town to the trustees of such police fund, without any action or authority of or from any other official, body or officer.

§ 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

AN ACT to revive and extend the corporate existence of The Sidman Land Company, of Buffalo, New York, and to legalize former acts and proceedings of such corporation and of its officers and directors.

The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:

Section 1. Upon the payment to the state of the organization tax provided for by law in case of organization of corporations under the general laws of this state, the corporate existence of The Sidman Land Company, of Buffalo, New York, is hereby revived, and such The Sidman Land Company, of Buffalo, New York, is hereby declared to be a valid corporation, with the same force and effect as the same existed on the ninth day of March, nineteen hundred and three, and prior to the expiration of the period for which such corporation was created; and with all the powers, privileges, franchises and subject to the same duties, obligations and restrictions in respect to such powers under the laws of this state in force on and before the said ninth day of March, nineteen hundred and three, which were conferred and imposed in respect of such corporation and with the same force and effect as if such

corporate existence and organization had been extended according to law prior to the said ninth day of March, nineteen hundred and three, and before the expiration of the period of time for which such corporation was created.

AN ACT legalizing certain acts and proceedings of the board of supervisors of the county of Jefferson, relating to a county tuberculosis hospital and authorizing the treasurer of such county to expend certain county moneys according to a resolution of such board thus legalized.

Became a law March 10, 1914, with the approval of the Governor. Passed, three-fifths being present.

The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:

Section 1. All acts and proceedings and the adoption of a reso- Acts lution by the board of supervisors of the county of Jefferson on the twenty-fifth day of July, nineteen hundred and thirteen, rescinding so much of the action of said board taken by resolutions adopted on the fourteenth day of July, nineteen hundred and ten, relating to the choice of a site for a county tuberculosis hospital for the county of Jefferson, and so much of the resolution adopted by said board on the nineteenth day of June, nineteen hundred and eleven, as authorized the building committee of such board to purchase the site so selected, and all acts and proceedings of and the adoption of a resolution of such board on the eleventh day of December, nineteen hundred and thirteen, as related to the designation of a new site for such county tuberculosis hospital and the disbursement of the proceeds of the sale of bonds for the purchase of such site as authorized by resolution of such board adopted on the twentyfourth day of December, nineteen hundred and ten, are hereby legalized, ratified and confirmed, notwithstanding any error or defect or irregularity in such proceedings and notwithstanding any lack of authority to perform such act; and the county treas- County urer of such county of Jefferson is hereby authorized and directed authorized to expend the moneys, or such part thereof as may be necessary, proceeds now held by him, as the proceeds of the sale of the bonds issued of bonds. as authorized by such resolution of the twenty-fourth day of December, nineteen hundred and ten, for the purposes and in conformity with such resolution of such board adopted on the eleventh day of December, nineteen hundred and thirteen.
