A., Philadelphia, 1912, 4to., pp. 320. Illustrated. With the laudable desire to perpetuate the memory of his ancestor, Samuel Carpenter, the First Treasurer of the Province of Pennsylvania and a prominent merchant of the city, Gen. Carpenter has collected and arranged his genealogical material. He has also considered it advisable to add the descent in the female line through the Fishbourne, Wharton and Meredith families.
