RESOLUTION OF TIE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, PASSED MAY SESSION, 1856,
UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A SPECIAL COMMITTEE.

The following compilation of the Resolutions and Private Laws of the State of Connecticut, has been made in compliance with this resolution of the General Assembly :
“GENERAL ASSEMBLY, May Session, 1856. “ Resolved, That John HOOKER and J. JUDSON DIMOCK, both of Hartford, [and] JARED B. FOSTER of New Hartford, be and they hereby are appointed a committee to prepare and cause to be published, to be printed by the lowest bidder, the Private Laws of the State of Connecticut, passed since the compilation of 1837, upon the same plan as the edition of the private laws published in that year, and to form an additional volume or volumes thereto.”
