LAWRENCE, Secretary of the State of Kansas, do hereby certify that the printed acts contained in this volume are true and correct copies of the enrolled laws on file in my office, which were passed at the regular session of the State Legislature, held in the months of January, February and March, A. D. 1864, with the exception of the clerical errors appearing inclosed in brackets; and I do further certify that all laws contained in this volume, not taking effect from their passage or publication in some newspaper, as per certificates thereto annexed, will take effect and be in force from and after the first day of July, A. D. 1864.
