After providing for the above objects, the Company shall apply annually one moiety of the residue of such income for the use and relief of such poor widows as shall be relicts of freemen of the said Company; provided that no such widow shall receive in any one year a sum exceeding 201., and that in making such distribution the Company shall give a preference to the most necessitous and deserving cases, and to widows of the most advanced age. 11. The Company shall expend the other moiety of the residue of such income and also the dividends to accrue on the said 1,4797. 19s. 1d. Bank 31. per cent. annuities, or on the residue thereof after payment of any costs which may be ordered to be paid thereout, in placing out and giving outfits to the children of poor persons residing within the city of London, or of poor freemen of the said city, of good character and proper objects of charity, as apprentices to some trade or calling. In the selection of children to be apprenticed, a preference shall be given first to those who shall be children of freemen of the said Company. The amount of any one premium shall not exceed the sum of 251. The amount to be given in any one case for outfit shall not exceed 81. ments for apprentices 12. The Company shall, when necessary and at least Advertiseonce in every year, cause advertisements to be inserted in such London newspapers as they may consider best calculated to give publicity to their object, inviting applications for the benefit of the apprenticing and outfitting portion of the Charity; which advertisements shall be in the form or to the effect following:City of Thomas and Ann Nepton's London Apprenticing Charity.
