NOTE.-The Salaries of the Instructors in the various Schools are established as follows, viz.

The Masters of the Latin, the English High, and the Girls' High and Normal Schools have a salary of $2.400 each per annum.

The Sub Masters in the Latin and the English High School have $1,500 for the first year's service, with an increase of $100 for each additional year's service until the salary amounts to $1,800 per annum. The Ushers in these schools have

$1,000 for the first year's service, with an increase of $100 for each additional year's service, until the salary amounts to $1,500 per annum.

The Masters of the Grammar Schools have $1,500 for the first year's service, with an increase of $100 for each additional year's service until the salary amounts to $1,800 per annum. The Sub Masters in these schools have $1,000 for the first year's service with an increase of $100 for each additional year's service, until the salary amounts to $1,200 per annum. The Ushers in these schools have $700 for the first year's service, with an increase of $100 for each additional year's service, until the salary amounts to $900 per annum. Head Assistants in the Normal School have $500 per annum; other assistants in this school $450 per annum. Head Assistants in the (rammar Schools have $450 per annum; all other Assistants in these schools, and all Teachers in the Primary Schools have $250 for the first years' service, with an increase of $50 for each additional year's service, until the salary amounts to $400 per annum. Teachers of Sewing in the Grammar Schools for Girls have $200 per annum, and the Teachers of Vocal Music have $125 per annum for each school instructed in this branch.
