PREFACE TO THE SECOND EDITION.

The short time which has elapsed since the publication of the first edition of this little compilation has rendered impracticable any radical changes in its scope or contents.

The text has, however, been carefully revised, prescriptions for the use of Cocaine Hydrochlorate added, and the form of the book improved, and it is hoped that the second edition will meet with the appreciation accorded the first.
