ORDERED that the Mayor issue his Warrant to the Treasurer of this City, to advance to Mess's Abraham Duryee & Peter T Curtenius Church Wardens of this City the Sum of £500 for the Use of the Poor.

ORDERED that the above mentioned Sum of £500 be repaid to the Treasurer [543] by the said Church Wardens out of the next Taxes that may be levied & collected.

ORDERED that the present Number of Watchm[en] be reduced to a Capt and three men after the fifteenth Instant: and that the several publick Lamps be taken down and put in some secure Place.

The Clerk produced to this Board two engrossed Leases, the one to Adolph Waldron for the Ferry from the Fly-Market to Nassau Island, for the Term of 2 Years under the yearly Rent of £450 commencing the 1st of May Inst: the other to Thomas Ivory for the Ferry from Peck's Slip to the Wharf lately built by this Corporation on said Nassau Island, for the like Term of two Years under the Yearly Rent of £60 commencing also on the 1st Instant which being approved of by

this Board were severally signed by the Mayor, and ORDERED to be delivered to the said Adolph Waldron & Thomas Ivory on their Executing Counterparts thereof.
