Halaman 201 - Central cities. — -Although there may be several cities of 50,000 or more in a standard metropolitan area, not all are necessarily central cities. The largest city in a standard metropolitan area is the principal central city. Any other city of 25,000 or more within a standard metropolitan area and having a population amounting to one-third or more of the population of the principal city is also a central city.
