Attached to the almshouse are 151 acres of land, of which 133 are reported to be under cultivation; value of land and buildings. $50,000; estimated value of the labor of inmates during the year, $250; estimated value of products of the farm, $4,177; receipts from sales, $496.

Expenses in connection with the almshouse for the year ending September 30, 1903, $8,049.65; estimated weekly expense per person, $2.38; expense of temporary (outdoor) relief administered by the overseers of the poor, $4.269.14; expense of per

sons supported in whole or in part in institutions other than the almshouse, $1,077.14; aggregate expenditures for support and relief, $13,395.93.

Total number in the almshouse during the year, 87; remaining October 1, 1903, 44 (33 males and 11 females), including 2 feeble-minded or idiotic, 3 blind and 2 epileptics; number of wayfarers to whom meals were furnished at the almshouse, 1; number receiving temporary (outdoor) relief, 433; number supported in other institutions, 20; total supported and relieved during the year, 541.

Attached to the almshouse are 165 acres of land, 100 of which are reported to be under cultivation; estimated value of land. and buildings, $55,361; estimated value of the labor of inmates during the year, $125; estimated value of the products of the farm, $2,538.47; receipts from sales, $341.71.

Expenses in connection with the almshouse for the year ending September 30, 1903, $9,566.93; estimated weekly expense per person $1.41; expense of temporary (outdoor) relief administered by the superintendent and overseers of the poor, $3,628.76; expense of support in whole or in part in institutions other than

the almshouse $380.25; aggregate expenditures for support and relief, $13,575.94.

Total number in the almshouse during the year, 215; remaining October 1, 1903, 120 (79 males and 41 females), including 3 insane, 29 feeble-minded or idiotic, 5 blind, 3 deaf and 5 epileptics; number of wayfarers to whom meals were furnished at the almshouse, 182; number receiving temporary (outdoor) relief, exclusive of four towns from which no report was received, 1,450; number supported in private institutions, 8; total supported and relieved during the year, 1,855.
