September 18, 1869.-The Venezuelan Commissioner having objected to adjudicate upon this claim, on the grounds that the proofs were not formalized until after the date of the Convention for the Adjustment of Pending Claims, the claim was withdrawn without prejudice to the claimant.

Claim for 31,467 dollars, for cattle and horses alleged to have been taken during the War of the Federation.

September 25, 1869.-The Venezuelan Commissioner objected to adjudicate upon this claim, unless the additional proofs, taken subsequent to the date of the Convention for the Settlement of Pending Claims, were stricken out. The British Commissioner declined to adopt this course, and it was agreed that the claim should be withdrawn from the Commission, without prejudice to the rights of the claimant.

Claim for 1,7081. 11s. 6d., and interest at the rate of 6 per cent. per annum, from the 1st of March, 1854, being 28 per cent., the proportion due by Venezuela of a debt of the old Republic of Columbia.

October 1, 1869.-The Umpire awarded the sum of 4,005 dollars 1 cent., with such interest from date as may be agreed upon.

Claim for 9,275 dollars and interest thereon, making together 14,775 dollars 76 cents. upon a charter of the steam-ship "Regas Ferreos," to the Venezuelan Government.

September 8.-The Commissioners awarded the sum of 7,525 dollars, with interest at the rate of 6 per cent. per annum from the 13th day of December, 1864, on condition that Messrs. Gilbert, Kerr, and Co. shall deliver a more formal assignment to them by Peter Clark and Arthur Clark, their heirs, executors, or assignees, and by José Maria Larrazabal, his heirs, executors, or assignees, of any interest they may have had in the charter of the steamer "Regas Ferreos" to the Venezuelan Government for a voyage to Ciudad Bolivar, October 31, 1864, than now exists amongst the papers forming their claim.

The foregoing docket contains a correct Report of awards and judgments made on claims of British subjects against the Venezuelan Government after a full and patient examination thereof; and we hereby place our signatures to the same to be applied thereto in the same manner, and as fully as if severally affixed to each of said awards and judgments.
