SECT. XXI. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That contributions to losses shall be stated annually, and every person or persons insured shall contribute in proportion to his, her or their insurance.

SECT. XXII. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That if any member or members of this contributionship shall be desirous of enlarging his, her or their insurance, and the directors shall be of opinion that the buildings insured, from improvements since made or otherwise, will bear an additional sum, then the accounts shall be made up with such member or members, and their old policy cancelled and a new one granted for the entire sum.

SECT. XXIII. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That to prevent frauds and avoid inconveniences no person or persons insuring their buildings in this office shall

receive benefit from the same, if such buildings are or shall be insured in any other office.

CHAPTER CXXXIX.

A SUPPLEMENT to the act, entitled, "An act to erect parts of Lycoming, Huntingdon, and Somerset counties, into separate county districts."

WHEREAS it appears that much difficulty has arisen on account of the provisions of the act to which this is a supplement not having been carried into effect, owing to the small sum allowed to the commissioners for running and marking the boundary lines, as a great part thereof has to be run through an uninhabited part of the county and over extreme bad ground; for these reasons the boundaries of the county have not been ascertained; for remedy thereof,

An ACT enabling Christiana Bear, widow and administratrix of
Isaac Bear, deceased, to convey a certain piece of land situate in
Muncy-creek township, Lycoming county.

SECг. 1. BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa tives of the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That Christiana Bear Christiana Bear, widow and administratrix of Isaac Bear, deconvey a certain ceased, be and she is hereby authorized and empowered to piece of land. sell and convey (for the best price that can be obtained for the same,) a certain piece of land (late the property of her said husband,) situate in Muncy-creek township, Lycoming county, bounded by land of Muncy Mannor on the south, and the west branch of the Susquehanna on the west, containing nine acres, or thereabouts; and the proceeds thereof to be apceeds to be ap- plied for the only benefit and sole use of the heirs of the said deceased.

CHAPTER CXLI.

An ACT granting an annuity to Joseph Wren for life.

WHEREAS it appears to the legislature that Joseph Wren served as a soldier in the Pennsylvania line, in the late revolutionary war, and was regularly discharged from the army at the end thereof; and that while in the military service of his country he received a wound which at this time subjects him to much debility, and that the said Joseph has not received a pension; Therefore,

SECT. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen tatives of the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in General Assembly 40 dollars grant- met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the state treasurer be, and he is hereby authorized to pay to John Fisher of York county, or order, the sum of forty dollars out of any unappropriated money in the treasury, for the use of Joseph Wren; and that an annuity of forty dollars be granted to the said Joseph Wren, to be paid half yearly dur ing his life, to John Fisher of York county, his executors or administrators, his or their lawful attorney, by the state treasurer out of any unappropriated money; to commence the first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eleven; ty to commence. which annuity shall be expended by the said John Fisher, his

SECT. I. BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen tatives of the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That Commissioners Caleb Kirk, Isaac Kirk, Cornelius Garetson, John Myer, John Mosser, John Bucher, Jacob M. Haldeman, Andrew Cremer, and Jesse Wickersham, be and they are hereby ap pointed commissioners to do and perform the several things hereinafter mentioned; that is to say, they shall on or before the first Monday in June next, procure two books, and in each Two books to be of them enter as follows, "We whose names are hereunto subscribed, do promise to pay to the president, managers and company of the Yellow-breeches turnpike road, the sum of one hundred dollars for every share of stock in said company set opposite to our respective names, in such manner and proportions, and at such times as shall be determined by the president and managers of the said company, in pursuance of an act of the general assembly of this commonwealth, entitled, an act to enable the governor of this commonwealth to incorporate a company for making an artificial road by the best and nearest route from the confluence of Yellow-breeches, with the river Susquehanna, to intersect the York and Conewago canal turnpike road, at any point the board of
