XXII. Forfeitures XXIV. And it is hereby further enacted by the authority a and penalties forefaid, That all forfeitures and penalties inflicted by this act, to be fued for as well fpecifick as pecuniary, and all fuits or informations andrecovered, which fhall be brought or commenced for the recovery thereof, fhall be fued for, profecuted, tried, heard, and determined, and and applied as the faid penalties and forfeitures diftributed and difpofed of, in act 5 Geo. 3. fuch manner and form, and by fuch rules, regulations, and redirects. ftrictions, as are prescribed and directed in and by an act made in the fifth year of the reign of his prefent Majefty, intituled, An act for the more effectual preventing the mischiefs arifing to the revenue and commerce of Great Britain and Ireland, from the illicit and clandeftine trade to and from the Isle of Man, with respect to the forfeitures and penalties therein mentioned.

XXV. And whereas by an act paffed in this prefent feffion of parliament, intituled, An act to prohibit, for a limited time, the exportation of corn, grain, meal, malt, flour, bread, bifcuit, and ftarch; and alfo the extraction of low wines and spirits from wheat and wheat flour; it is, amongst other things, enacted, That the faid att fhall not extend to two thousand five hundred quarters of wheat, barley, oats, meal, and flour, transported from the ports of Southampton or Exeter only, unto the Isle of Man, for the use of the inhabitants of the faid ifland, under certain restrictions in the faid act mentioned: and whereas the ports of Southampton and Exeter, being remote from the Isle of Man, the navigation is too expensive and inconvenient to carry the faid goods from thence; by which means the good purposes intended by the faid alt has been in a great measure, The quantity if not entirely, ineffectual; be it therefore enacted by the aulimited by the thority aforesaid, That, from and after the paffing of this act, recited act, of it fhall and may be lawful for any of his Majefty's fubjects, at ley, &c. for any time or times during the continuance of the faid recited act, the ufe of the to transport wheat, barley, oats, meal, and flour, from the ports inhabitants, of Whitehaven and Liverpool only, inftead of the ports of Southto be tranf- ampton and Exeter, under the like restrictions, fecurities, and liported from Whitehaven mitations, as are mentioned in the faid recited act; fo as the whole quantity of wheat, barley, oats, meal, and flour, which pool, instead shall be shipped at both the faid ports of Whitehaven and Liverof SouthamptonandExeter, pool, together with the quantity of wheat, barley, oats, meal,

An act for granting certain duties in the British colonies and plantations in America; for allowing a drawback of the duties of customs upon the exportation, from this kingdom, of coffee and cocoa nuts of the produce of the faid colonies or plantations; for discontinuing the drawbacks payable on china earthen ware exported to America; and for more effectually preventing the clandeftine running of goods in the faid colonies and plantations.

WHERE a
