Group Processes and Intergroup Relations

An analysis of terrorism from a social psychological perspective and an empirical exploration of the effects of cooperative learning teams in desegregated school settings are among the issues discussed in Group Processes and Intergroup Relations. Providing comprehensive coverage of this rapidly expanding field, this volume is a companion text to Group Processes, the previous volume in the series. An integrative chapter focuses on a reconceptualization of the contact hypothesis to include person, situational and social antecedents; this chapter should stimulate further research on the effects of intergroup contact.
