WILLIAM WATERMAN STEERE, son of David (168), grandson of Samuel (63), was born August 29, 1798. He married, January 18, 1827, Elizabeth Sprague, daughter of Peter and Mary (Thornton) Sprague. She was born October 7, 1805, and died April 23, 1865. He lived in Johnston, on the old Samuel Steere homestead, and died December 15, 1886, aged 88.

HENRY ADDISON STEERE, son of Thomas [J.] (171), grandson of Samuel (63), was born November 27, 1808. He married, first, Betsey G. Spear; second, Sarah A. Gregory. They lived in New Berlin, N. Y.

DAVID STEERE, son of Thomas [J.] (171), grandson of Samuel (63), was born May 30, 1812. He married Anna Lincoln. They live in Iowa.

SAMUEL STEERE, son of Thomas [J.] (171), grandson of Samuel (63), married, first, Julia A. Smith; second, Miranda Ruysdorf. He resides in New Berlin, N. Y.

ASAHEL DAY STEERE, son of Hardin (175), grandson of Jonah (27), was born in Johnston, R. I. He married, first, January 1, 1840, Syrene Andrews. They removed from Johnston to South Scituate, near the Battey meeting-house. She died, and he married, second, Mrs. Rachel Winsor. He built a fine residence in South Scituate, and died there October 22, 1881. His widow now lives in Greenville, and his son Andrew and daughter Abbie A. occupy the homestead.

THERON STEERE, son of Adin (178), grandson of Simeon (64), was born January 23, 1810. He married, November 29, 1838, Sabrina F. Wallen. They lived in Burrillville, R. I. He died May 8, 1848, aged 36. She was appointed guardian of the children October 28, 1854.
