Sr Marmaduke Gresham dyed tuesday 14 of Aprill, 1696, at Gresham Coll. buried at Titsey in his own chappell on Munday 20 instant. Sr Edward, son and heir; Charles, 2d son, one of the Readers of Gresham colledge. Sr Edward born 30 Jan., 1648. William, 34 son; and Alice, daughter, unmarried.

She was daughter of Sir John Gresham the younger, Kt., son of Sir Richard Gresham, Kt. Nathaniel Bacon married Anne daughter of Sir Thomas Gresham, Kt., Founder of the Royal Exchange.

Ellyn Gresham was born on saynt France day the xxiiii. day of May, Ao D'ni 1533. Mr Wyll'm Gresham's wyff and Mrs Worsope and Mistris Frances Gresham were godmothers, and Mathew Dale was her godffather; and God make her a good old woman. Amen.

Cyceley Gresham was borne a-pon seynte Evlaly's daye, whiche was the xii. day of Feuerell, Ao 1535. Mr Roger Barker her godfather, and Mystris Marshe and Mystris Harding were godmothers; and God make her a good old woman. Amen. A-pon a Sondaye.

Elsabethe Gresham was borne uppon seynte Frediswide's day the xix. day of November, Ano D'ni 1537, and hir godfather was Mr Walter Marshe, mercer, and Mr Humffrey Pakyngton's wife and Mr Rowland Hill's wiffe and Mrs.... were hir godmothers; and God and seinte Elsabethe make hir a good old woman.
