ALL of you

The Epiftle. 1 S.Pet. 5.5.

be fubject one to another, and be clothed with humility for God refifteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble your felves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; cafting all your care upon him, for he careth for you. Be fober, be vigilant, becaufe your adverfary the devil, as a roring lion, walketh about feeking whom he may devour. Whom refift stedfast in the faith, knowing that the fame afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us into his eternal glory by Chrift Jefus, after that ye have fuffered a while, make you perfect, ftablish, ftrengthen, fettle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

The Gospel. S. Luke 15.1.

Hen drew near unto him all the publicanes and finners for to hear him. And the Pharifees and fcribes murmured, faying, This man receiveth finners, and eateth with them. And he fpake this parable unto them, faying, What man of you having an hundred fheep, if he lofe one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is loft, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders rejoycing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, ing unto them, Rejoyce with me, for I have found

my fheep which was loft. I fay unto you, that likewife joy fhall be in heaven over one finner that repenteth, more then over ninety and nine just persons which need no repentance. Either what woman, having ten pieces of filver, if the lofe one piece, doth not light a candle, and fweep the house, and feek diligently till fhe find it? And when the hath found it, the calleth her friends and her neighbours together, faying, Rejoyce with me, for I have found the piece which I had loft. Likewife I fay unto you, There is joy in the prefence of the angels of God, over one finner that repenteth.

The fourth Sunday after Trinity.
The Collect.

God,the protectour of all that truft in thee, without whom nothing is strong, nothing is holy; Increafe and multiply upon us thy mercy, that thou being our ruler and guide, we may fo pafs through things temporal, that we finally lofe not the things eternal: Grant this, O heavenly Father,For Jefus Chrifts fake our Lord. Amen.

The Epiftle. Rom.8.18.

Reckon that the fufferings of this prefent time are not

I worthy to be compared with the glory which dhall be

revealed in us. For the earneft expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the fons of God. For the creature was made fubject to vanity, not willingly, but by reafon of him who hath fubjected the fame in hope: Because the creature it felf alfo fhall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groneth, and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but our felves alfo, which have the firft-fruits of the Spirit, even we our felves grone within our felves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

The Gofpel. S. Luke 6.36.

E ye therefore merciful, as your Father alfo is merciful. Judge not,and ye shall not be judged: conlemn not,and ye fhall not be condemned: forgive, and e fhall be forgiven: give, and it fhall be given unto you: good meafure, preffed down, and fhaken together, and running over, fhall men give into your bofom. For with the fame measure that ye mete withall, it shall be meafured to you again. And he fpake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? fhall they not both fall into the ditch? the difciple is not above his master, but every one that is perfect fhall be as his mafter. And why beholdeft thou the mote that is in thy brothers eye, but perceiveft not the beam that is in thine own eye? Either how canft thou fay to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thy felf beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, caft out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then fhalt thou fee clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brothers eye.

The fifth Sunday after Trinity.

The Collect.

Grant, O Lord, we beseech thee, that the course of this world may be fo peaceably ordered by thy governance, that thy Church may joy fully ferve thee in all godly quietnefs, through Jefus Chrift our Lord. Amen. The Epistle. 1 S.Pet.3.8.

BE

ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous; not rendring evil for evil,or railing for railing, but contrariwife, blefling; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye fhould inherit a bleffing., For he that will love life, and fee good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they fpeak no guile. Let

efchew evil, and do good; let him feek peace, and it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righte

But and if ye fuffer for righteousness fake, hap py are ye, and be not afraid of their terrour, neither be troubled, but fanctifie the Lord God in your hearts.

came to pafs, that as the people prefed upon him to hear the word of God, he ftood by the lake of Gennefareth; and faw two fhips ftanding by the lake: but the fifher-men were gone out of them, and were wafhing their nets. And he entred into one of the fhips, which was Simons, and prayed him that he would thruft out a little from the land: and he fat down and taught the people out of the hip. Now when he had left fpeaking, he faid unto Simon, Lanch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon anfwering, faid unto him,Mafter, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing, nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclofed a great multitude of fishes, and their net brake. And they begkned unto their partnerswhich were in the other hip, that they should come and help them. And they came and filled both the fhips, fo that they began to fink. When Simon Peter faw it, he fell down at Tcfus knees, faying, Depart from me, for I am a finful man, OLord. For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the files which, they had taken, and fo was alfo James, and John, the fons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jefus faid unto Simon, Fear not, from henceforth thou fhalt catch men. And when they had brought their fhips to land, they for fook all, and followed him.

The Collect.

God, who haft prepared for them that love thee, fuch good things as pafs mans understanding; Pour into our hearts fuch love toward thee, that we loving thee above all things, may obtain thy promises, which exceed all that we can defire, through Jefus Chrift our Lord. Amen.

The Epiftle. Rom. 6.3.

Now ye not, that fo many of us as were baptized into Jefus Chrift, were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptifm into death, that like as Chrift was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father,, even fo we alfo fhould walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be alfo in the likeness of his refurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of fin might be destroyed, that henceforth we fhould not ferve fin. For he that is dead is freed from fin. Now if we be dead with Chrift, we believe that we fhall alfo live with him; knowing, that Chrift being raifed from the dead, dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died,, he died unto fin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God Likewife reckon ye alfo your felves to be dead indeed unto fin:: but alive unto God,through Jefus Chrift our Lord..

The Gopel. S.Matth. 5.20. Eus faid unto his difciples, Except your righteousness fhall exceed the righteoufnefs of the fcribes and Pharifees,ye fhall in no cafe enter into the kingdom of hea ven. Ye have heard, that it was faid by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill.: and whofcever shall kill, shall be in danger of the judgement. But I fay unto you, that whofoever is angry with his brother without a caufe, ll be in danger of the judgment: and whofoever fhall
