Do you produce the Letters of Administration granted on the 24th of
November 1739, of the Effects of Percival Hart?
I do.

(To Mr. Watts.) Is that you produce a correct Copy of the Letters of Administration jnst produced?

It is.

The same was delivered in:

Doctor Lushington stated, That he would next prove that the
Children of Sir Thomas Dyke, born previously to the Father of the
Claimant, died young.

Then the Reverend THOMAS NEWTE HAMILTON was further
examined as follows:

(Doctor Lushington.) Will you produce the Register of Burials for
the Parish of Lullingstone in 1745, and state whether there is an Entry
of the Burial of Thomas Hart Dyke?

There is, on the 8th of December 1745.

The same was read as follows:

"Thomas Hart Dyke, Esq", was buried Dec. 8, 1745, æt. 17."

find also an Entry of the Burial of Percival Dyke in 1740? I do, on the 19th of July.

The same was read as follows:

"Master Percyvall Dyke was buried July 19, 1740."

Do you find an Entry of the Burial of Sir John Dixon Dyke on the 13th of September 1810?

I do.

The same was read as follows:

"1810.

"Sir John Dixon Dyke, Bar', departed this Life Thursday Morn. Five O'Clock, Sept. 6th, aged 78 Years; buried Sept. 13th 1810, by me, J. Thompson, Offic' Min'."

(Doctor Lushington.) You are Curate of St. George the Martyr?
I am.

Have you the Register of the Baptisms in that Parish before you?
I have.

Do you find there an Entry of the Baptism of John Dixon Dyke on the 23d of November 1732 ?

I do.

The same was read as follows:

"26. Registrum baptizatorum in parochia Sti Georgii Martyris. Adhuc An. Dom. MDCCXXXII.

"December 4.-John Dixon, Son of S' Thos Dyke, Bart, & Dame Anne his Wife, born ye 23d of November 1732, in Great Ormond Street. "S. GREENE."

The Witness was directed to withdraw.

(Doctor Lushington.) Will you refer to the Eutry of Marriages in 1756, and state whether there is an Entry of the Marriage of Sir John Dixon Dyke in that Year?

There is, on the 3d of May in that Year.

The same was read as follows:

"John Dixon Dyke, Esquire, of this Parish, Batchelor, and Mrs. Philadelphia Payne Horne of the Parish of St James, in the City of Westminster, in the County of Middlesex, Spinster, were duly married by Licence in this Church this Third Day of May in the Year One thousand seven hundred and fifty-six, by me,

"THOMAS JAMES, Curate for this Time.

Mr. Lewis was heard to sum up the Case of Mrs. Otway Cave.

Doctor Lushington stated, That he did not desire to sum up the Case of Sir Percival Hart Dyke, the Evidence being fresh in the Recollection of their Lordships.
