REGULATIONS FOR VISITORS.

The friends of the sick are allowed to visit them twice a week, viz.: On Tuesdays and Fridays, between the hours of 3 and 5 in the afternoon.

Visitors are respectfully requested to retire when the bell announces the expiration of the visiting hours.

On Sundays, members of associations, &c,, are permitted to visit their beneficiaries, and others, only in cases of extreme illness.

No article of food or drink is to be given to the sick by their friends; all must be left with the Sister in attendance, who will give or withhold it, according to the condition of the patient.

The Committee of Visitation consists of two members, who serve for one month, in rotation.

The Board of Directors are so classified that each member has a specified month in each year, during which he or his colleague visits the hospital, and sees that the patients are regularly prescribed for and attended to; that the Apothecary and other officers attend to the duties of their office with accuracy and neatness; suggests any improvements that can be made, and sees that proper economy is observed in all the departments.

This Committee audits all claims against the institution, and provides all necessary articles needed for the Hospital, one or more visiting it at least once during each week.
