Time being for Redress therein (in cafe there ap pear fuch neceffary Caufe for the Meeting of the faid Veftry). And if the faid Veftrymen, or any of them, fhall happen to meet, order, agree, or conclude any Thing contrary to the Premises, or any Part thereof, we will and pronounce fuch their Meetings, Conclufions, Orders, and Agreements, to be (ipfo facto) void and of none Effect, as if no fuch had been made; or if they fhall prefume to intermeddle, at any of their faid Veftry Meetings, in any Matter, Caufe, Crime, or Bufinefs whatfoever, contrary to the Limitations aforefaid, concerning Ecclefiaftical Perfons, Causes, and Things, then this our Allowance, Establishment, and Confirmation of the faid Veftry, to be also meerly void, as if the fame had never been granted. In Witness whereof We have caused the Seal of our Chancellor, which We have used in this Behalf, to be set to these Presents. Dated the Eight and twentieth Day of June, in the Year of Our Lord God One thoufand fix hundred fixty and two, and in the Second Year of our Confecration.

An Act for enlarging the Time given to the Commif fioners appointed by Her Majesty, pursuant to an Act for granting to Her Majefty feveral Duties on Coals, for building Fifty New Churches in and about the Cities of London and Westminster, and Suburbs thereof, and other Purposes therein mentioned; and alfo for giving the faid Commiffioners farther Powers for better effecting the fame; and for appointing Monies for rebuilding the Parish Church of St. Mary Woolnoth, in the City of

London.

[So much thereof as relates to new-created Parishes following the Cuftoms of St. Martin in the Fields.]

prefent Parish, out of which fuch New Parish, or the greater Part thereof, fhall be taken, now have or exercise; and if there be no Select Vestry in fuch prefent Parish, then as the Veftrymen of the Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields, within the Liberty of the City of Westminster, in the County of Middlefex, now have or exercife; and from Time to Time, upon the Death, Removal, or other Voidance of any fuch Veftryman, the reft, or the Majority of them, may elect a fit Perfon, being an Inhabitant and Householder in the said Parish, to fupply the fame.

Provided always, and it is hereby enacted and declared, That all Parochial Cuftoms, Ufages, Byelaws, and Privileges as are now in force or use within any prefent Parish, which fhall be divided by virtue or in pursuance of this Act, fhall and may at all Times after, and notwithstanding fuch Divifion, continue and be in force, as well in and for every New Parifh, of which the Whole or the greater Part fhall be taken out of fuch prefent Parish, as in and for fuch Parish as fhall remain to the present Parochial Church, and be used, enjoyed, and obferved, by the Inhabitants thereof refpectively, fo far as the fame fhall not be repugnant to, or inconfiftent with, the Laws of this Realm, and the Intent of this present Act.

And be it enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That no Burial fhall at any Time hereafter be in or under any of the Churches by this Act intended to be erected; and that it shall and may be lawful to and for the faid Commiflioners, or any Five or more of them, to afcertain the Sum of Money that shall be paid to the Rector, and each Officer belonging to each Church, for every Burial, in any Cemeteries. of the Cemeteries or Church-yards by this Act intended to be purchased.

An Act for rebuilding the Parish Church of St. Martin in the Fields, in the City of Westminster, at the Charge of the Inhabitants of the faid Parish.

[So much thereof as relates to making the Two Out Wards of St. Martin in the Fields a distinct Parish.]

ND whereas the Commiffioners for erecting Fifty New Churches in and about the Cities of London and Westminster, pursuant to feveral Statutes in that Behalf made and provided, have appointed and intended One of the said Fifty New Churches to be erected in One of the Out Wards of the faid Parish of St. Martin in the Fields; it is further enacted and declared by the Authority aforefaid, That the feveral Parts and Divifions of the The Two faid Parish of St. Martin in the Fields, called The Out-Wards Two Out Wards (except fuch Part thereof as is in- erected into a closed within His Majefty's Park called St. James's Park) fhall, from and immediately after Eafter-day, which fhall be in the Year of Our Lord One thoufand feven hundred and twenty-four, or in cafe fuch Church fhall not be fo foon erected and confe
