WILLIAM HARVEY REDFIELD, eldest son of Ebenezer (122), son of Daniel (32), son of Daniel (11), is a carpenter, residing at Clinton,

Conn. Married, in 1821, ELIZABETH Elderkin, daughter of Elisha and Mary [Brintnall] Elderkin. Her sister, Mary, married Justin Redfield (209)

of New Haven.

EBEN REDFIELD, second son of Ebenezer (122), son of Daniel (32), son of Daniel (11), was, for many years, a grocer in New York city. After 1828 he returned to Clinton, Conn., where he still resides, adjacent to the site of his great grandfather's residence, which was demolished in 1858. He married, April 7, 1825, at New York, SARAH STURGES GRAY, born at Westport, Sept. 6, 1804, daughter of Jeremiah and Mary [Stott] Gray. Mary Stott was from New Bedford, Mass.

ROSWELL REDFIELD, eldest son of Martin (124), son of Roswell (33), son of Daniel (11), was a house carpenter and resided at Guilford, Conn. He married, April 15, 1804, Harriet Stone, b. Feb. 20, 1786, daughter of Benjamin and Mary Ann [Watrous] Stone.* He died at Guilford, April 29, 1833, aged 53 years. His widow is still living (1859) at Meriden, Conn.

† At the age of 19 he entered the U. S. naval service, and continued in the service as an officer until at the age of 40, he died of yellow fever on board U. S. ship Vandalia.

NATHANIEL REDFIELD, second son of Martin (124), son of Roswell (33), son of Daniel (11), resided formerly at Buffalo, N. Y., but now (1858) at Jersey City, N. J. He married, October, 1803, SUBMIT HULL, daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth [Kelsey] Hull of Killingworth.

DANIEL GRIFFING REDFIELD, third son of Martin (124), son of Roswell (33), son of Daniel (11), resided at Clinton, Conn. He married, July 11, 1815, Jennette BuEL. He died Sept. 21, 1847, aged 58 years. His widow died March 12, 1857, aged 66 years, at the residence of her son, CHARLES, at Cutchogue, L. I.

JAMES POST REDFIELD, eldest son of James P. (125), son of Roswell (33), son of Daniel (11), resided at Meriden, Conn., afterwards at Huntington, L. I. He married, 1st, MARY FARRINGTON of Meriden, and 2d, SARAH DAYTON of New Haven. He died at Huntington, L. I., August 24, 1832, aged 46 years.

brook, Conn. She died October 22, 1821, and he married, 2d, October 27, 1825, Charlotte TODD, born April 10, 1799, daughter of Timothy and Phebe [Buel] Todd of Killingworth. She died at Guilford, August 20, 1849.

HORACE ROSWELL REDFIELD, third son of James P. (125), son of Roswell (33), son of Daniel (11), was a mechanic, and resided in Meriden, Conn. He represented that town in the Connecticut legislature in 1837. He married, December 25, 1817, LUCY CURTIS, daughter of Elisha and Abigail Curtis of Meriden. He died December 31, 1851, aged 58 years. His widow is now living (1859) in Meriden.
