February 13. Andrew Heilland, aged about nine years, attempting to cross Avenue A at Tenth street, immediately in front of car No. 41, fell and was run over and killed. April 20. Frank Huffer, aged about four years, was knocked down by car No. 11, at corner of Avenue A and First street, and received injuries from which he died. April 26. Isaac Aaron, aged about three years, was knocked down by the horses attached to car No. 14, in Cannon street, and received injuries from which he died. June 7. A boy, about eight years old, fell in leaving front platform of car No. 52, at corner of Thirty-fourth street and Ninth avenue; was run over and died immediately. June 13. George Moore, aged about eight years, jumped from car No. 37, in Forty-second street, near Eleventh avenue, and falling under a passing truck was run over and killed. June 21. Anna Cohn, aged three years, crossing Houston street, between Avenues B and C, was knocked down and had one of her feet injured by wheels of car No. 13.
