No blame attaches to the driver in any case above reported.

The following is a statement of the date of each accident, the place where it occurred, the cause and the extent of the injuries inflicted upon each person, and the name of such person, as follows:

1869.

October 9. James Hamrock had his leg broken; caused by the wheel of a Flushing avenue car coming in contact with a plank, which was thrown violently against him.

October 18. John Connell sustained serious injury by falling over the dash board of a car on the same line.

October 20. A Mr. Gibson, in attempting to get on a Gates avenue car, fell and sustained slight injuries.

October 26. Geo. W. Taylor and Hattie Atkinson (children) were slightly injured by a car of the Greenpoint line.

October 28. John Miller was knocked down and severely bruised by a car on the Flushing avenue line.

December 10. A man, named Gibbs, fell on the track, and a car of the Fulton avenue line passed over both ankles. December 22. John Malthman, in the act of stepping from a Flatbush avenue car, fell and sustained slight injury.

1870.

January 4. Martha McGonigle, an aged lady, was injured by being knocked down by the horses attached to a Greenpoint car.

January 7. William Harmon jumped from a Flushing avenue car while the same was in motion, and was badly bruised. January 10. Patrick Kearns fell from a Myrtle avenue car, injuring his foot badly.

February 23. Patrick Doyle, in the act of running with a car of the Greenwood line, fell and received internal injuries. April 29. Edward Keenan, a boy, was run over by a Fulton avenue car and one foot crushed.

May 19. Gottfried Mass was caught between two cars and received slight injuries.

May 24. A boy, named Edwards, while in the act of stealing a ride, fell from a Fulton avenue car and was injured slightly.

June 16. Mrs. A. Bertha, an aged lady, attempting to leave a car of the Greenpoint line while the same was in motion, fell and received slight injury.

July 19. Dennis Tracy leaped from a car and was struck by another going in an opposite direction, breaking his collar bone.

July 19. An unknown man fell from a Fulton avenue car and received injuries about the head.

July 21. Patrick Tobia while working in a sewer on the Greenpoint line, was struck by a car of that line breaking his

ribs.

August 11. Patrick Car, injured by a car of the Greenpoint line slightly.

September 5. H. Rabidan, by leaving a Myrtle avenue car while the same was in motion, fell and broke his leg.

September 5. Abner Listner, while a passenger on a car of the Greenpoint line, struck a horse going in an opposite direction and broke his arm.

The undersigned have caused the foregoing statements to be prepared by the proper officers and agents of this company, from the books and records, and have examined them, as far as practicable, and believe them to be correct.
