The North Shore Railroad Company, of Long Island, is operated by the New York and Flushing Railroad (formerly), now the Flushing and North Side Railroad Company, during the continuance of its charter, and has, at the present time, no acting Superintendent.

NORTH SHORE OF LONG ISLAND.

To the State Engineer and Surveyor:

The undersigned, one of the Directors of the North Shore Railroad, of Long Island, to comply with the statutes of the State of New York requiring every railroad corporation to make an annual report to the State Engineer and Surveyor, of the operations of the year, ending on the 30th day of September, do report:

That the charter of the North Shore Railroad, of Long Island, was filed with the Secretary of State on the 21st day of September, 1870; that from the said 21st day of September (the time of filing said charter) to and including the 30th day of September (the time required to report), nothing, whatever, was done by this railroad corporation except to elect officers for the management of the affairs of the road.

The amount of capital stock of the corporation is $5,000,000; the stock subscribed is $110,000; all of which, and also all that has been done by said corporation, is contained in the charter above referred to.

All of which is respectfully submitted.
